Rivers: character could fall, drown and even be killed in the river!
Steep hills: character could slip and get injured. The hills vary the tempo of the chase and add suspense.
Ally ways: In many films, crime and danger takes place in ally ways. These ally ways make the audience question if a dangerous event takes place in the ally way.
Low bridges uneven roads: character could fall of bridge and could trip on the uneven road.
Location shots of crane:
This location shot shows one of the many rivers in crane park. Although none of the characters use the river, it does add danger to the opening sequence and the flow of the river adds tension through sound.
A mysterious tower in crane park which was originally a gun powder production tower. This automatically associates conventions such as danger and death. In the opening sequence Wayne will run past this tower and a long shot will be shown of the tower.
